Obituary for Christopher Dwayne Hall

Christopher Dwayne Hall was born September 9, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee to his loving mother Thelma Hill Thornton and Leon Hall.

As a young boy of 8 years old, he confessed his faith in Jesus Christ with Christ Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Eddie L. Currie.

He attended grade school at St.Joseph. After graduation, he attended two years at TSU University and one year at Lemoyne Owen College.

Chris always had a way with words. He wrote so many words of encouragement to himself and loads of poems that he could put to music and make a song out of it. He was very talented and smart and was always so excited with hopes and dreams of acting and performing. His loving spirit and energy will be missed by many.

Christopher was preceded in death by his grandfather, Freddie Hill and his aunt, Erma Yarbrough. He leaves to mourn, His mother Thelma Hill Thornton his dear sweet grandmother, Lucinda Hill, one sister, Karen Thornton, four daughters: Brittany Hall, Khrishae Watkins, Kirsten Watkins, Keyona Dixon. Two sons: Kadereous Neal and Cameron Phifer and nine grandchildren
He also leaves his loving companion of many years, his ‘one love,’ his Shirley Ann Britt. And his dear Godmother, Willie Carol Simmons.
Chris was loved and admired by a host of Aunts and Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends of the family. Christopher Dwayne Hall aka “Lucky P’’ will truly be missed by many.
