I have NEVER in my life witness or experience such a remarkable event. My Mother is 74 years old, and we both have attended many Home Going celebrations over the course of our lives. I have even watched a reality show that provided funeral services that appeared to exploit “The Ghetto Factor” in the community. The service that Harrison’s Memorial Chapel, Inc provided has lived up to, and surpasses all expectation in my eyes. Your staff that was attending to the service at Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church was exceptional from the moment the service started on TIME; until the interment process at Memorial Park on Hacks Crossing. Your team was sharp, precise, and compassionate, organized, and demonstrated a level of professionalism; I have not experience in my life time. I could not conclude this letter without commenting on the amazing obituary that was created for Ms. Hollins. Well done, well done, well done on such incredible job. You capture her essence on paper, and allow people who are family and friends to have a memorial keepsake of her on paper. GREAT JOB. My only disappointment is that I didn’t know your company existed when my father passed away recently. I would have loved for you to have handled his services. I am not even a family member, and you have impressed me to the point where my husband & I are reviewing our policy, so that our love ones can experience the “Harrison” experience when it’s our turn to travel down the road, we all must take one day. I would like to offer my deepest sympathies to you. Although we haven’t met, all of us have experienced the loss of a loved one. I recently lost my mother and know the pain of a broken heart. Our Heavenly Father feels our pain. Psalms 34:18 assures us that He is near to those broken at heart. He does, however, hold out a promise that in the very near future He will wipe out all tears of sorrow and pain from our eyes and death will be no more. (Revelation 21:3-5) He also promises to remember all those in the memorial tombs (graves) and restore them to life. (John 5:28,29) Until those words are fulfilled, may you find much peace and comfort in God and in His promises found in the Holy Scriptures.

The bible holds out such a comforting message at Revelation 21:3&4 where God promises that there where come a time where death with be no more and john 24:11 also reassures is that we will be able to see our loved ones after a resurrection. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Death is the enemy of all mankind, yet when it touches us personally, few seek the comfort they search for. The doctrines that are taught concerning death find their origins from men and not the Bible. As a result, they fail to leave those who are grieving with comfort or a hope. They do however, leave many with unanswered questions. The response that "God works in mysterious ways" or that "God needed another angel", does not satisfy the spiritual needs of those who are grieving. However, many have found comfort in the pages of God's word the Bible (2 Corinthians 1:3, 4). In God's word we find the promise that we can be reunited with our loved ones (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15). The Bible tells us where this happy reunion will take place (Psalm 37: 11, 29; Matthew 5:5). We are told why we die (Genesis 3:17-19; Romans 5:12), and that the God of the Bible will end death forever (Isaiah 25:8; Revelation 21:3,4). Learning the truth about Jehovah, the God of the Bible (Psalm 83:18), God's Kingdom (Daniel 2:44), and the state of those who have died (Ecclesiastes 9:5), is the start to finding true comfort concerning loved ones who are sleeping in death (John 11:11-14; John 8:32). My wife (Linda & I; would like to present this condolence message to my pass brother-in-law, George Johnson, whom we called affectionately "Brother". We shared the same last name (Johnson) but was not related by blood, only marriage. George was more than a brother-in-law to me. He was more of a real brother, being five years older than I. Back in the day (five 5- years apart seamed a lot). The last time I saw George was at my father's funeral September 2005, in Ripley Tenn. It was good to see him and his lovely wife Annie in attendance. You never know how things will work out, or when you will see friends again if at all. George was very bright, a good provider, and good at everything he got involved with. I had heard he was ill, but was unable to contact him by phone; good info was hard to come by. When I told George I was joining the City of Pasadena California Fire Department, he said "Pete" be the best you can be. I retired in 2004 after 31 plus years of service at the rank of a Senior Fire Captain, Thank you brother, God Bless you, may you rest in peace, as tears fill my eyes, I leave this quote, I will see you later in "Heaven".
